Collaborative Psychological Assessment:

Evaluations with Children, Adolescents, and Adults

Welcome and thank you for taking the time to learn about collaborative assessment!

This model of psychological testing was introduced by Dr. Constance Fischer and further developed by Dr. Stephen Finn. A foundation of this approach is the relationship between the psychologist and the client and family. This is not a top-down approach of delivering results, but a partnership where we work together to answer the questions posed by clients.

Sample Questions

  • Why do I have trouble focusing?

  • Why do I get so angry?

  • How do I understand my social struggles? Am I neurodiverse?

  • Do I have a learning disability?

  • Does my child have ADHD?

  • Why is my child having trouble making friends?

  • What support does my child need to succeed in school?

Services Offered

Assessment & Testing

With myself as the expert in the tests and you as the expert in yourself and/or your child, we begin the process of weaving together a narrative of strengths and needs.

Rorschach Consultation

I have been providing training and consultation in the Rorschach Inkblot Test for over 15 years both nationally and internationally.

Individual Therapy

I provide a supportive, safe, confidential and non-judgment space to explore thoughts, feelings, and behaviors that may impede a person’s ability to function to their highest potential.

My Approach

I consider treatment to be a collaboration between the client and therapist to co-create an understanding of struggles and to identify interventions that best fit the client’s goals of change.
